Welcome To The
Official SWBA Website
The SouthWest Baseball Association is an internet baseball simulation league which was established in March
1988 using a combination of the Pursue the Pennant board game and computer game which eventually evolved into
the Diamond Mind Baseball simulation that we currently use.
Managers Robert White of the California Coolers and Chris Dugan of the Pennsylvania Sluggers have been around
since day one, along with commissioner and manager of the Arizona Arrows, Joe Hornback. Dennis Michurski of the
Minnesota Mudhens and Pat Burroughs of the Oklahoma Switzers have been in the league since the first expansion in
1990. Alex Kilanowski has run the SouthWest Roughnecks franchise since its inception in 1992 and Dave Kruper has
done likewise, since his Dobson Ranch Bashers began play in the 1994 season.
Please take a few moments to view the current league statistics and our archives. We strive to keep a good list of
potential backup managers, so if you like what you see, click on the contact info above and fill out the managers
needed form. Enjoy your visit to our website....
This is under renovation, if a link does not work properly go to the Old Home Page.
