NL Divisional Series

Game 5 - October 6, 2009 at Angel Stadium. The Cougars squeaked by the Tiger-Cats 3-1. With the 'W', Marmol is 2-0 out of the pen for this series. Halladay was saddled with the defeat. B.J. Upton was 1-4 for the winners.

Game 6 - October 8, 2009 at PNC Park. The Cougars annihilated Tiger-Cats pitching and won 9-2. The Cougars pounded out 14 hits off Tiger-Cats pitching. Hernandez got the victory. He pitched 7.1 innings of two-hit ball. He threw 129 pitches and struck out ten. Lee took the loss. Derek Jeter led the Cougars with two 2B, one big fly and three RBI, finishing 4-5 on the day. He raised his average to .391. Chase Utley enjoyed a one 2B, one HR and three RBI day too.
